Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is the standardized test used to get admissions in the graduate schools or business schools in the United States and other major English speaking countries. GRE underwent major changes since August 2011 and the GRE® revised General Test is now one of the most widely used tests in the world. There is no specific eligibility criterion for taking GRE Test. Aspirants can apply for the test irrespective of age and qualification. However, the candidate has to fulfill the admission criteria for individual institutes where he/she is applying.

The GRE sample papers will have the following sections:
Analytical writing: In this section, the examiner analyzes the candidate’s capacity to communicate an idea through the most effective words and expressions. The candidates will be typing down an essay in a word processing program prepared by ETS especially for the exam.The GRE sample tests will give ample chance for the candidates to practice on the essays.
Verbal reasoning:This section has three different types of questions such as reading comprehension, text completion and sentence equivalence. The GRE sample questions for the session will give the candidates a clear idea about the nature of questions in the section.
Quantitative reasoning: This section consists of the following types of questions: quantitative comparison questions, multiple choice questions- choose one answer,multiple choice questions- choose one or more answers and numeric entry questions.
